Part of our Elective Curriculum (along with MobiXperiences and the Elective Courses) the Extracurricular Activities complement the classes that happen inside the core Curriculum and consist of diverse experiences and sportive training offered with no additional cost.

Community Work

Community Work

From the 6th grade, students and professionals at Móbile can engage in a community work project that makes sense to them. The project aims to broaden the vision on social reality, recognize the rights and duties, strengthen the self esteem and stimulate protagonism, autonomy and collectiveness.

From 6th grade the students have the opportunity to participate in lectures about current topics, watch movies and artistic shows as well as discuss about the topics mentioned, favoring the expansion of their cultural repertoire.

We offer Advanced Math Study courses: one for invited students from 6th and 7th grades and another for 8th and 9th grade students. In these courses the students who are interested in deepening their range of different mathematical thinking can expand their repertoire and be even more challenged.

Sportive Training

Sportive Training

Monday to Friday - 14h10 to 19h55

From 6th grade, apart from regular classes, the students can choose to participate in sportive practices (Indoor football, Handball and Basketball) after-hours, exercising the basic fundamentals of the sport and developing game strategies and tactics. Students enrolled in the Sportive Training courses can also be part of the teams that represent Móbile in championships and friendly games throughout the year.

Complement your children’s experience with courses and exercises that develop competence and skills that range from psychomotricity to artistic expression to interpersonal relationship and through introduction and deepening of new technologies.

At Móbile Bilingual Program the students participate, from the initial grades, in many Community work projects, always aiming for personal growth, developing respectful attitudes, cooperation and enriching diversity by being conscious that their actions can make the difference for the construction of a solidary, democratic and antiracist society.

Offered to students from 6th to 9th grade, the object of the course is to teach skills related to the collective musical practice such as: make and elaborate musical arrangements, develop the musical performance (singing and playing); collaborative work> develop the capability to present a group work for students and other public.

We offer two extracurricular programming courses: one for invited students from 6th and 7th grades and another for 8th and 9th grade students. In these courses, our pupils experience the study of programming in a deeper way, being able to try the context of development of technologies for the resolution of problems.

Concurso Téchne

Concurso Téchne

This contest stimulates trying and inventing. An opportunity for students from 6th to 9th grade to develop a technological and creative project – a gadget – applying the knowledge acquired in or out of school.

Sportive initiation

Sportive initiation

Tuesday and Thursday - 16h00 to 17h00

Aimed at students from 4th and 5th grade, the Sportive Initiation proposes to explore more intensely throughout the year the abilities that belong to the sports played with a ball (handball, basketball, volleyball and indoor football), also athleticism, that serve as foundation to the sportive practices.

Speech and Debate

Speech and Debate

This course offers learners the opportunity to discuss global and meaningful issues in a collaborative environment. Our main goal is to go beyond the agree/disagree dichotomy since the debate is an important collective resource for the exchange of ideas, considering different points of view and places of speech. Students (7th to 9th Grade) are invited to take a stand, argue, reflect, listen and speak in public, in addition to developing skills such as research, organization, and the construction of lines of argumentation.
