1. What does the announcement made by Móbile´s General Directorate, titled "Association between Móbile and Nord Anglia Education," mean in objective terms?"

It means that, in addition to the current partners Maria Helena Bresser (founder) and Daniel Bresser, Escola Móbile will now have a new partner: the international education group Nord Anglia Education.

It is one of the most successful educational groups in the world.

3. Why did Móbile decide to partner with an international group?

At this moment, as Móbile begins its 50th anniversary celebration, the founder, Maria Helena Bresser, along with the other members of the General Directorate, Daniel Bresser and Prof. Wilton Ormundo, decided that it was time to seek a partnership that could ensure the longevity of the institution, founded in 1975. Through this new international partner, Móbile will be able to enhance its educational excellence further and expand its knowledge and experience beyond national borders.

4. Why did Móbile choose Nord Anglia Education?

Due to the prestige it has gained, Móbile has received, in recent decades, several invitations to partner with various educational groups. However, none of them aligned with the values that make Móbile the school it is. Nord Anglia Education was chosen with great care, and the main reasons for this partnership are the possibility of sharing values that are fundamental to us and expanding opportunities for our community.

5. What are the main benefits of this partnership for Móbile's students?

The arrival of Nord Anglia Education represents access to a set of international possibilities that were previously inaccessible to Móbile: partnerships with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), The Juilliard School, UNICEF, and IMG Academy (a prestigious institution for sports development for students) will become part of our students' educational experience. Móbile students will also have access to the Global Campus, a digital platform that connects all students linked to the schools within the group, further enhancing collaborative learning and connections among our children and adolescents.

6. What are the benefits for Móbile's educators?

In addition to the various continuing education programs offered by Móbile, our teachers and coordinators will now have access to Nord Anglia University – an academic community that brings together education professionals from across the group and provides courses and content in different formats – and also the opportunity to pursue an Executive Master’s in International Education at King's College (England).

7. Will there be changes to Móbile's educational project?

No. We will uphold the qualities that have characterised our project since its founding in 1975. We will maintain a unique and original pedagogical approach, a plural curriculum that is constantly being improved, attention to the individuality of our children and adolescents, and, as always, a team of competent and passionate educators dedicated to the immense responsibility of introducing the world to a learner.

8. Will there be changes in Móbile's leadership or faculty?

No. Móbile will retain its current high leadership structure and board of directors. Alongside the partner and General Executive Director Daniel Bresser, the General Pedagogical Directors, including the partner and founder Maria Helena Bresser and Prof. Wilton Ormundo, will remain in their roles.

Alongside this group, the cycle directors, who make up the current leadership and have been so crucial to Móbile's success story, will continue: Cleuza Vilas Boas Bourgogne, Maria de Remédios Cardoso, Tatiana Almendra, Rodrigo Mendes, Daniella Leonardi, Lili Fonseca, Márcia Ruiz, Leonardo Cosentino, Cláudia Colla, Daniela Leites, and Rodrigo Mourão.. The presence of our pedagogical team and educational coordinators, who are invaluable to Móbile, is also guaranteed.

9. Which schools are part of the Nord Anglia family?

Among others, College Alpin Beau Soleil, recognized worldwide as one of the best boarding schools in the world; the Swiss International Scientific School Dubai, ranked as one of the best private schools in the world (according to the Spear’s Schools Index); and Oxford International College, the highest-ranked independent school in England based on A level results (qualifying exams that are part of the university admission process in the UK).

10. Which universities do graduates from Nord Anglia Education schools typically attend?

Among other universities, students from schools affiliated with Nord Anglia Education continue their studies at Harvard, Stanford, Oxford, Cambridge, University College London, Imperial College London, and the London School of Economics.

11. Will Móbile adopt an international curriculum with this partnership?

No. The current curriculum – regular or bilingual – will remain as it is, following the Brazilian academic calendar. However, changes that benefit students may occur at any time, as has always been the practice at Móbile over its nearly 50 years of existence.

12. Will Móbile join other schools that are part of Nord Anglia in Brazil, such as Avenues and British College?

No. Móbile will preserve its individual characteristics. The school is now part of the Nord Anglia family, but like the more than 80 institutions that make up this global community, it will operate independently and autonomously.
