Course proposal:

In class, we will have the construction of the technique along with a ludic environment in which the improvisation and the exploration of the body in movement are fundamental for the understanding of the dance as a language. The experiences of the course will help on the better comprehension of the skills and limits of the body in a direct relationship between doing, feeling and caring.

About the teacher:

Cristina Ávila, Valquíria Vieira (teachers) and Liana Zakia (coordinator) have been dance artists for many years.

Cris is licensed by Unesp, is a ballerina, teacher and producer. She likes to create movements with ideas that go through her body and heart. For children, she created shows like A estrela que virou no vento and A ilha do José.

Val has graduated from PUC and has a master’s degree from Unicamp, dance teacher, ballerina, actress and director. Ever since she was a child, she liked creating stories and playing with her body. She created dance shows for children like Fui educado pela imaginação, Devir infância and Poemas sonoros para dançar.

Liana has graduated and has a master’s degree from Unicamp and, at Móbile, she coordinates the team of this elective course.
